Dylan John Thomas shares new track ‘Feel the Fire’ to ignite big future.
Comparing young Dylan John Thomas to The View sounds like a cheap cop out, but there are similarities beyond the accent.
His new single Feel the Fire is overflowing with that bouncy energy that battles its way into the songs of emerging Scottish artists.
Although I’ve not had the chance yet to catch him live, I know that he will have reeled in countless new fans on his ongoing festival circuit.
He’s already supported Gerry Cinnamon and Liam Gallagher on their tours, kicking off a career that will only leave him looking back at these shows as a fond reminder of how far he made it.
He recently sold out the legendary King Tuts quicker than any other debuting Scot, and it’s easy to see why.
The charming youngster approaches stories that touch the heart and will have the crowd jumping around and screaming the lyrics to his early material – the dream of any breakthrough artist.
I genuinely hope he goes from strength to strength, and with Feel the Fire it seems he’s definitely on that path.
His debut EP is out on 29th October and will pack more energy than a bus full of scouts going to see the Loch Ness monster.
Until then, make sure you find him at a festival and add him to your follower list on Spotify.
