Pynch have shared their latest single ‘How You Love Someone‘, a dreamy, lo-fi dissection of modern love that showcases the more introspective side of their sound.

The track serves as another preview of their upcoming album Beautiful Noise, dropping 3rd October via their own Chillburn Recordings.

Guitarist and vocalist Spencer Enock describes it as “a restless dissection of modern love built on lo-fi guitars and new wave synths.” It’s one of their most personal songs yet, exploring a relationship that “meant everything but couldn’t work.”

The track climaxes with a shoegazey guitar solo before dissolving into what Enock calls “a dreamy, heart-tugging outro” – one of his favourite moments on the record.

The accompanying video, shot mostly on a Hi8 camera from the ’90s, captures the song’s nostalgic melancholy with grainy, dreamlike textures that perfectly mirror the lo-fi sound.

Beautiful Noise was produced by Enock in the band’s home studio, with drums recorded by Stereolab’s Andy Ramsay and mixed by Jimmy Robertson (Fat Dog, Los Campesinos!).

The album explores love, death, and the pursuit of meaning through art – a more inward-looking follow-up to their acclaimed debut Howling at a Concrete Moon.

Following support slots with The Libertines, Squid, and English Teacher, Pynch embark on a UK tour this October, kicking off in Manchester on 11th October.

The four-piece – completed by Julianna Hopkins (drums), Scott Enock (bass), and new member Myles Gammon (synths) – have carved out their own space somewhere between Pavement, Blur and New Order.
