OASIS announce their first UK and Ireland shows in sixteen years
Tickets go on sale from Saturday, August 31st. Tour dates are at the bottom.
“The guns have fallen silent.
The stars have aligned.
The great wait is over.
Come see.
It will not be televised.” – Oasis.
After years of will-they-won’t-they that would put Ross and Rachel to shame, the Gallagher brothers have finally pulled their heads out of their arses and decided to grace us with their presence once again. And let me tell you, it’s going to be… biblical (didn’t want to say it, but had to).
Picture this: It’s summer 2025. You’re stood in a field, pint in hand, surrounded by thousands of like-minded souls. The air is thick with anticipation (and probably a fair bit of weed smoke).
Then, those opening chords of ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’ hit, and suddenly you’re transported back to 1994. Only this time, you’re not watching grainy footage on YouTube – you’re actually there, living it.
There’s been no dramatic reconciliation, no teary-eyed apologies on national telly. Just a gradual realisation that maybe, just maybe, they’re better together than apart. Plus, I reckon they’ve finally cottoned on to the fact that we’re all getting a bit long in the tooth, and if they don’t do it now, their original fans will be bedbound.
The OASIS LIVE ’25 tour (clever name, lads) will be hitting up Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. And let me tell you, getting tickets will be harder than trying to understand what Liam’s saying in an interview. They go on sale Saturday, August 31st, so set your alarms, charge your laptops, and maybe sacrifice a small animal to the ticketing gods.
You’re gonna need all the help you can get.
If Liam’s recent shows are anything to go by; it’s not going to be just a concert, it’s a religious experience. The roar of the crowd, the sea of hands in the air, thousands of voices belting out every word. You’ll be part of something bigger than yourself.
Plus, let’s be honest, there’s always the chance of some prime Gallagher brother drama. Will they make it through the whole tour without killing each other? Or an on-stage brawl like The View? Only time will tell.
So, there you have it. Oasis are back, and they’re ready to remind us why they were the biggest band in the world. Get ready for a summer of Cigarettes & Alcohol, Wonderwalls, and maybe a bit of brotherly love.
And remember, in the words of the great philosophers themselves: “You gotta roll with it.”
