London trio Ebbb have dropped their most introspective track yet with ‘Book That You Like’ – a dreamy blend of celestial synths and classical guitars that marks their final single of 2025.

The Ninja Tune signees continue to push boundaries, with vocalist Will Rowland tackling the thorny relationship between art and mental health. “This song explores the tension between introspection as art and introspection as harm,” he explains. “Sometimes consuming material that reflects our darkness can become a feedback loop.”

It’s a softer turn for the band who’ve built their reputation on genre-bending experimentation – described by some as “Brian Wilson meets Death Grips“. The track layers Rowland’s ethereal vocals over an insistent beat, creating something both beautiful and uneasy.

The release comes as Ebbb hit the road supporting The Orchestra (For Now), following a breakthrough year that’s seen them selling out London’s Brixton Windmill and supporting Shame across Europe.

The band – completed by producer Lev Ceylan and drummer Scott MacDonald – have been steadily building momentum since their critically acclaimed All At Once EP. With three singles now under their belt in 2025, including the BBC 6 Music-supported ‘Manners’ and the hypnotic ‘Eyes’, all eyes are on what 2026 might bring.
