USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS review

Paris has claimed a new victim.

Swept up in the city’s charm, the seducer was seduced during his eight-concert performance and you can watch his internal battle in the new heart-racing concert film, USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS.

The film’s balance of romance and heartbreak, mixed with a chart-topping setlist including “Yeah!”, “My Boo”, and “Love In This Club” was enough to extract unforeseen audience participation. It was as though USHER was looking at you directly and inviting you to participate.

Amongst the never-before-seen costumes and state-of-the-art lighting; there was singing, gasps, and cheers coming from various pockets of the cinema hall—probably thirty minutes away from pure chaos and dancing on the seats.

Talking about the film, USHER said, “Paris was a special experience for me as an entertainer and for my fans. I hope those who weren’t able to make it in person get to experience how special it was. As for those of you who were, I hope you experience the show and see what it takes to get there through a different lens.”

He couldn’t have captured the essence any better. Of course, it’s a display of his 30-year career and his hits – but it dives much deeper.

In the thick of the dazzling performance is a passionate tale that can’t be sung. One that triggers the intensity and fiery emotion that has carried USHER this far, but from a whole new perspective.

USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS will screen in 2,000 cinemas worldwide between Thursday, September 12 through Sunday, September 15.
